How to make konkani masala for seafood dishes?
The recipe which
I am going to show you today can be used with variety of sea food dishes like
with any fish curry. It is
Konkani Masala Recipe which can be used for lots of fish curries. When
you will add this paste to any sea food dishes I am giving you guarantee that
you will keep licking your fingers and your plate till its clean.
Lets see how to
make Konkani Masala Recipe.
First I will show you how to make Red Chilly paste.
For that you
will need.
Ingredients:
1) Sankeshwari
Mirchi 200 gms
2) Degi Mirch
200 gms(this one is little bit spicier)
3) Coriander
Seeds 2 table spoon(Optional)
4) Water
Sankeshwari and degi mirch |
1)
Take a bowl full
of water.
2)
Break both the
mirchi and break them with your hands.And put it in the water.Also put 2 table spoons of coriander seeds.

Let it soak for
about 5-6 minutes
4)
Add little by
little water and grind.Dont add too much water at once.
5)
Grind it in the mixture
to make a fine paste.
Now lets see how to make Coconut Paste
You will need:
1)
Coconut 1
freshly grated
2)
Half tomato
3)
Half onion
4)
Ginger ½ stalk
5)
Garlic 5-6
cloves
6)
Water
7)
Coriander Leaves
Method:
1)
Grate the
coconut, chop half onion and half tomato,chop ginger into small pieces.
2)
In the same
mixture which you used to make red chilly paste, add all the ingredients.
3)
Grind all the
ingredients onion, tomato,ginger,garlic and little coriander leaves.
4)
Add little by
little water and grind.Dont add too much water at once.
5)
Make a fine
paste.
These two paste will
take your sea food fish dishes to a great level and add very tasty flavour.
Note that you
can make these paste in big batches ,use how much you want and preserve the
remaining paste in fridge by adding little salt over top of them.When you add
the salt don’t mix it with the paste just sprinkle it on the top of the paste everywhere.
These paste can last for 1 week in the fridge.
